FAQs

When will StarFybr™ Molded Starch products be available?

Arriving in 2024, our 100% plant-based, 100% compostable range of StarFybr™ molded starch products will include single compartment meal trays and five-section meal trays. Stay updated by connecting with our team.

What kinds of products can StarFybr™ Molded Starch technology be molded into?

Our product line currently includes meal trays; however, our innovative technology is capable of producing a diverse range of products – from takeout containers to other packaging and serviceware currently made from EPS (commonly known as Styrofoam™). If you are a packaging company looking to expand your product offering with more sustainable options, connect with our team to learn about licensing our technology.

Are the plants you use taking away from the food supply?

Not at all! In fact, we use the inedible parts of plants and plant materials that would otherwise be disposed of or discarded as waste. By using agricultural waste, we are diverting food waste. We call it a sustainability win-win.
