Which kind of cutlery is better for the environment – biopolymer or recycled PET plastic? 

Biopolymer cutlery are made from renewable plant resources and are compostable in a commercial facility. PET plastics are made from petroleum, a non-renewable resource and are not compostable. While recycled PET plastic is a better choice than virgin PET plastic, the challenge is that only 10% of plastic is actually recycled.

Can your compostable cutlery be used for hot foods like soup and cold foods like ice cream?
Yes, our compostable cutlery is both heat and cold resistant and can withstand temperatures from -35°F/-20°C to 194°F/95°C. Made from renewable resources of corn, they are an affordable and sustainable option for servicing and enjoying a range of food.
