FAQs
What's better, a paper straw or a biopolymer straw?
How are your compostable straws different from others on the market?
The resin we use to manufacture our straws is made from high-quality plant materials. Our straws are proudly made in the USA. Strong and robust – they look and feel just like plastic straws but are certified commercially compostable. Our straws are also available in heat resistant, suitable for cold and hot drinks (up to 176°F/ 80°C).
How much do your compostable straws cost?
We have a variety of compostable straws that come in different sizes, lengths, colors and with heat resistant properties. Contact our sales team for specific pricing inquiries and to see how affordable our straws are at sales@evanesce.com.
500 million plastic straws are used every day in the USA.
Plastic straws can take over 200 years to decompose.
